Google this week rolled out hands-free searching to all Chrome users, following a successful beta test earlier this year.
To turn on the "OK Google" voice search feature, simply visit Google.com, tap the microphone icon, click "Enable 'OK Google,'" and give your computer a command.
Once set up, users in the U.S., or anyone with Chrome set to U.S. English, can visit the Google homepage or open a new tab and give the "OK Google" command to search, schedule an alarm, or set a reminder.
Google first showed off voice commands for the desktop at its I/O developer conference in May 2013, then launched the service as a Chrome browser extension in November.
